3 Easy Steps To Use Coconut Oil for Removing Makeup

Removing your makeup with coconut oil in 3 easy steps.

Coconut oil is a nature's gift to humanity. It has endless uses, specifically in a wide range of cosmetics, and is found easily in most homes. Coconut oil is right for your skin as it has excellent hydrating and soothing properties. Today we will look at another essential use of coconut oil as a makeup remover.

Step 1: Take a few drops of coconut oil from the jar. Make sure it should not be more than half a teaspoon; else, your skin will feel very oily.

Step 2: In the colder season, rub the oil for a few seconds to make it liquid. Now, with oil on your fingers, rub it on your face and eyes in a circular motion. To remove mascara from lashes, keep the eyes open, and apply the oil directly.

Step 3: Wipe off any excess oil with a warm and wet cloth. Finally, wash your face with warm water.

Why use coconut oil in place of usual makeup remover?

  1. Coconut oil is antibacterial and moisturizing.
  2. It heals wounds and rashes.
  3. It can easily remove waterproof makeup without any need of scrubbing.
  4. It is readily available and is a cheaper and healthier option.
  5. It leaves a fresh organic fragrance.

Below is a list of some great products you could use on your skin after removing the makeup.

Prickly Pear + Argan Oil Night Cream - Replenish your skin while you sleep.

Hydrating Toner Mist - It just feels so good. Use it any time of the day.
