Rosemary Oil

Rosemary oil or Rosmarinus officinalis leaf oil is extracted from the rosemary herb native to the Mediterranean region. Rosemary oil is full of antioxidants and is extensively used in skincare formulations to prevent and reverse the signs of skin aging.

Rosemary oil is considered to be helpful in the treatment of androgenetic alopecia (AGA). A study conducted in 2015 compared rosemary oil to minoxidil, a popular hair regrowth treatment. People facing DHT-related hair loss received either rosemary oil or minoxidil for 6 months. Study observed that both groups noticed considerable hair growth after 6 months of regular use. However, the group with rosemary oil saw no side effects in comparison to the group that used Minoxidil.

Hair: It is a natural DHT blocker and can help with hair loss in both males and females. The carnosic acid found in rosemary oil helps promote nerve growth, and healing the nerves on the scalp can also encourage healthy hair.

How to use it: Rosemary essential oil can be blended with a carrier oil and directly applied to the scalp. However, as essential oils are potent extracts of plants, it is essential to use them in the right proportions to avoid essential oils sensitivity.

How we use it: Rosemary oil is a key ingredient in Revitalize Natural Hair Oil. With other potent hair growth herbs like nettle, bhringraj (eclipta alba), peppermint, and cold-pressed oils like jojoba, castor, almond, and argan oil- it offers excellent scalp nourishment, hair loss prevention, and hair growth properties.
